Jatin (Fardeen Khan) has completed his MBA in U.S. and agrees to marry Jaya (Sonali Kulkarni), a girl of his mother has chosen for him. He has never seen Jaya but agrees because he loves his mother and cannot let her down. Then he bumps into hot-tempered Karishma (Amrita Arora) on the way. They develop instant dislike for each other but become friends over the journey. They go to see a suitable girl for him, and find her in Jaya Patel. They contact Jatin to come and get married, to which he agrees. On the way to India, he meets with Karishma, who is also on her way to India to get married to Nimesh. Their journey is eventful and brings them closer, and eventually end up falling in love, but still decide to carry out the wishes of their parents, and marry someone else, not knowing that their decisions are going to change their lives, as well as the lives of their future bride and groom, forever.
