Berlin, March 23rd 1933, students at the Bauhaus School for Arts and Architecture attempt to save their art from the rise of the Nazi Party. Led by Jack Porter, a British sculptor, the students face a harsh decision of whether to stand up for their artistic expression or give way to the unrelenting force of Fascism. Based on true events. Written by Philipp Eierund 631 Berlin, March 23rd 1933: Jack Porter (John Bobek), British sculpture student at the Bauhaus School for Arts and Architecture, and his fellow students prepare for the upcoming student exhibition. Meanwhile, the news of the Enabling Act, transferring power of legislation to Adolf Hitler, reaches Headmaster Mies Van der Rohe (Jerry Hoffman) forcing him to cancel the exhibition due to the looming Nazi threat. The rebellious Jack, however, not willing to be silenced, arranges for a student protest against the Headmaster's new rules. His friends Vladimir (Richard DeGuilio) and Stephan (Brian Sheridan) are easily convinced of the plan, while Ellen (Mirjam Novak), Jack's closest friend at the Bauhaus, senses the danger and objects. After a fall out with Ellen, Jack and his friends decide and start the rally against Mies van der Rohe and his decision. During the protest the events rapidly turn tumultuous when the Nazi SA storms the Bauhaus surprising both, the students and Mies van der Rohe. Sensing the imminent destruction of his school Mies van der Rohe finally tries to stand up against SA Stormleader Meier (Stefan Kollmuss), who is nothing but appalled by the students work. When Meier consequently threatens to destroy Jack's sculpture, Jack looses control and risks everything in order to rescue his art.
