Philip Glass tells the audience about his experience with Sufi culture and music while Pakistani Sufi musicians interpret different songs in their own country. Excerpts of Monsters of Grace, a contemporary theatre music composition by P. Glass and B. Wilson after the Sufi poet Rumi, are intercut so that the film is a mixture of ancient eastern and contemporary western cultures strongly interrelated. Written by Anonymous Philip Glass, the contemporary American composer, tells us about the Pakistani Sufi musicians while images show different musicians arrive on the spot and bits of Glass's and Bob Wilson's Sufi theatre musical composition Monsters of Grace.
